founder & principal planner

Born in the Midwest, Nichole Haugen Shin was raised with a strong work ethic and developed unquestionable integrity and principled values. After receiving her bachelor's degree from Concordia College in Minnesota, Nichole held several positions in catering and events before relocating to Hawai'i in 2001.

It was her position as a catering director for a private downtown club in Honolulu - together with the fact that she is a romantic at heart - that inspired Nichole to enter the wedding industry. Under the guidance and mentoring of prestigious wedding planner Social Butterfly, Nichole discovered her own creative talent and has honed her skills and expertise as a wedding coordinator since 2003.

Nichole's mission is to provide a worry-free, stress-free, drama-free experience for each couple. Her approach to the "perfect" wedding is to collaborate with the bride and groom to create a unique wedding concept that is distinctively theirs - always staying focused on the details and ensuring an event that is flawlessly orchestrated beginning to end.
